The other day, I wrote an article on 25 Chase Offers to look out for (click here). Over the weekend, I perused different travel groups on Facebook and saw that someone posted an AirBNB deal with their Chase credit card. Naturally, I checked if I got the offer. I sure did.

This comes very timely for me and my family, We have a big vacation planned this Spring, and we plan on using AirBNB.
If you received this 5% offer, or an offer of 15% off, please let me know. I would love to include the 15% offer screenshot to this post. Good luck.

I received the 15% offer for both the Chase Debit card and Chase Sapphire Prefered.
Nice….at first I only saw a 5% offer, then I saw the 15% offer.
Nope. Only a Starbucks 5% limited to $1.50 and 30 other crap offers. Typical. Not living the dream thru Chase offers.
Not on my Chase, B of A or BB&T accounts.
Any word if this will work on AirBnB gift cards?
I can only tell you that the offer details mentioned cash back works on AirBNB reservations, and that payment must be made by 3/31/2019. Not sure it will work with GCs.
i only received the 5% on my chase sapphire preferred but the 15% for my chase checking account 🙁
So wait, you also got a 15% offer using your checking account? Nice! I just noticed that as well on our checking accounts. So I imagine you’d have to use your Chase debit card to pay AirBNB to make sure you get the credit.
yeah how do i send you screenshots
oops – i got a bunch of responses at once and thought yr question to someone else was directed at me (so never mind about the screenshots). yes, so i’d have to pay w my debit card to get 15% but is that worth it over the 3x points i’d get from sapphire reserve given i buy 95% of everything with my credit, not debit, card?
I think at the end of the day, it will depend on what you value the most. You’d have to spend $640 in AirBNB to get 15% off and max $96. If you use your CSR x 3, you’ll get 1920 URs. For me, since we have a lot of AirBNB expenses coming up, I’d rather take the $96 off. Also, I’m not well-versed with debit card protection, so just keep that in mind when paying with your debit card.
I signed up for it, made the purchase with my debit card, and have seen nothing! I emailed Chase and they have no idea what I’m talking about.
When you say you signed up for it, what do you mean? Also you mentioned you used your debit card. If you got an offer on your Chase debit card, I am very interested to see how you got this offer. I see a Chase offer section in one of my checking accounts, but it was always blank or empty. So I’m interested to see an actual offer on someone else’s checking Acct. Lastly, if you did get the offer, from experience it has taken up to 2 weeks for me to find out that chase acknowledged my transaction. Let me know. Thanks.
Ok the only thing I could say then is that it has taken up to 2 weeks for me to get the statement credit. That might be the case with yours.
I made an airbnb booking on Feb 16, got the offer in the Chase app one day later and added it to my card. I was planning on making another booking to get the full $96 back but then Chase retroactively applied the offer to my previous booking 🙁 So I only got $16 back
It is a new program this year for them. The customer service rep I spoke with acknowledged it was new and there may be some glitches. I added the 15% before my purchase tonight. Fingers crossed.
Call the customer service line and they should fix it for you. The lady I spoke with acknowledged there were some glitches with the new program.
Does the stay have to be completed by March 31? what if I make a booking for July now and the payment goes through before March 31?
The attachment posted by Chase shows that payment for the “completed stay” must be made by 3/31/2019. For me, I have a trip in April and I plan on paying for my April stay in fully by 3/31….I’m hoping I get the credit. You might want to double check with Chase as well for clarification.
Did your chase offer for Airbnb go into the redeemed section or the expired?
I received this bonus and I actually didn’t have it added. Super thankful! 75 dollars back
