US Bank Business Edge Cash Card Review

Many of us in the points & miles world overlook cash back cards. To add, many of us overlook smaller “players” in the credit card world like U.S. Bank among others. However, the US Bank Business Edge Cash Card is special!

Many credit card holders don’t think they will be able to qualify for a business card because they don’t have a business. Do you sell things on Amazon? Do you drive for Uber or Lyft? Or do you occasionally help your friends with booking travel? Then you may have a business possibly!

On the surface, this card looks to be a pretty good business cash back card. $200 cash back after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months. 3% cash back on cellular services, gas stations (purchases less than $200), and office supply stores. You will also receive a 25% bonus of your earned cash back, up to $250. You can redeem this cash back in the form of a statement credit, direct deposit, or a prepaid Mastercard debit card. To wrap it up, no annual fee. Pretty good, right? It gets better!

So why is this card so great?!

This card is able to have several authorized users at no charge. But the best part, is that each authorized user is eligible for the $200 cash back! When I found this out, I applied immediately. I was given the dreaded 7-10 business days notice, but sure enough, I was approved for my wife and I. Easy $400 cash back! Now I just need to find friends/employees to sign up.

If you’re thinking about signing up your kids as employees / authorized users, I saw conflicting opinions as to whether or not you had to be 15 or 16 years old to be an authorized user.

I personally am a fan of US Bank for my personal banking, but I was shocked to find out about this hidden secret of a card! And the best part is that this card will not be counted towards Chase’s dreaded 5/24.

You can apply for the card here at US Bank’s website (not an affiliate link)
