I’ve often said that if there ever comes a time in my life when I no longer find Uranus jokes funny, it might as well be time to bury me in the ground. So when we were driving in southern Missouri and saw billboards for the Uranus Fudge Factory, I knew that we had to stop.
Where is the Uranus Fudge Factory?
The Uranus Fudge Factory is located in Uranus Missouri. Although Uranus Missouri is marketed as an actual city, it is actually just an unincorporated area in Pulaski County, Missouri. You will see billboards for it if you’re driving on I-44 through south-central Missouri. Uranus Missouri is located on historic Route 66 just off of Exit 163 on I-44 in Missouri. We stopped there on our way from Cincinnati to Branson, Missouri

The Uranus Fudge Factory is about a mile down the road after you get off the Interstate.
What to do at the Uranus Fudge Factory in Uranus Missouri
I don’t know that there’s a ton to do in Uranus MO – there is basically a big parking lot and a variety of stores surrounding the parking lot. Here’s a shot of me with our family mascot Mario in the parking lot at Uranus Missouri (I’m sure “Home of the Pirates” is a homage to one of the Uranus jokes)
In addition to the Uranus Fudge Factory and General Store, there is a tattoo parlor, a gun shop, King Louie’s Burlesque Saloon and Gentleman’s Club (!) and Chicken Bones Party Bar and Grill. You can see the website for the Uranus MO Fudge Factory and General Store here – they sell T-shirts, fudge and other things online. We stopped and had some of the fudge from the Uranus Fudge Factory – I am not sure that I can agree that the best fudge comes from Uranus – ach! more Uranus jokes! 😀
Ever been to the Uranus Fudge Factory in Uranus Missouri? If not, time to add that to your travel bucket list!

Can’t been Welsh Lady Ass Fudge. Sign in supermarket, ass abrev for assorted. Worth a google.
I don’t know about that fudge being the best… some of their stuff tastes like sh*t. They do hire in their community though, especially in the shipping department. There’s a lot of turnover due to backdoor shenanigans, so they’re always advertising for new fudge packers.
Hello Dan,
Thanks for Picking Uranus! Glad you enjoyed your time here.
Billy Bob,
I know you are being funny with your comment but I’m sure not everyone gets the jokes so as Mayor I would like to set the record straight. I assure you Uranus has very little turnover but we are always hiring because Uranus is expanding due to our amazing fudge and quality Uranus products. If you’d like to know more about Uranus please visit our Facebook fan page or check out our website http://www.Uranusmissouri.com Or better yet, stop on in and see for yourself.

My receipt from a favorite restaurant said “buttfinger cheesecake” … because apparently “butterfinger” was two characters too long
