Yesterday at around 3:30PM EST, I received an email from Citi with the subject line: “Cameron, where can 30% bonus Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles take you?”. (Maybe not so) ironically, this Citi transfer bonus comes hot on the heels of a current Membership Rewards 30% transfer bonus! When transferring Citi points to Virgin Atlantic, you’ll typically transfer in increments of 1,000:1,000, with a minimum of 1,000 points in a transaction. This promotion bumps that rate up to 1,000 ThankYou Points to 1,300 Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles. Virgin Atlantic is a transfer partner of Membership Rewards, Ultimate Rewards, ThankYou Points, and Marriott Bonvoy points, meaning you can stock up on points fast for a great redemption.

Virgin Atlantic is not a member of Skyteam.
Shoot, I always think the Delta cousins are also part of Skyteam, just like Air France/KLM! Updated 🙂
