Credit cards come in a variety of uses, and there are 3 reasons why you might sign up for a card
- Perks for having the card –Â example: 4th night free on the Citi Prestige, the free night on the Chase IHG card, etc.
- Good return on every day spend –Â example: 5x on Chase Freedom quarterly categories, or 2% cashback
- A good welcome offer – recent example: 125,000 Hilton points on one of the new Hilton cards
You can find many of these cards at our top credit card offers page. It’s up to each person individually to decide whether the benefits received are worth the annual fee and of course, as always, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A CREDIT CARD JUST BECAUSE SOME GUY ON THE INTERNET SAYS YOU SHOULD!

Amex Blue Business Card
The American Express Blue Business Plus Card was launched last year and offers 2x Membership Rewards on ALL purchases, up to a $50,000 annual limit. There was a welcome offer of 20,000 Membership Rewards when it was first launched, but that quickly went away and for the past few months there has been NO public offer on the card that included a welcome offer
In the months that I’ve had the card, it’s become my go to card whenever I am not working on a minimum spend or somewhere that has a category bonus. I value 2 Membership Rewards more than I value any of the alternatives (2 cents cash, 1.5 Ultimate Rewards, 1 SPG point, etc). Plus no annual fee!
Amex Business Blue welcome offer returns
For awhile you could refer friends to the American Express Blue for Business card, but now there is a public offer that includes a 10,000 Membership Rewards welcome offer after spending $3000 in the first 3 months of having the card.
You can review the 10,000 point welcome offer for this card and compare it to other cards here. If you’re approved for a card through this link I may receive a commission.
