I wrote last month about the December Southwest Scavenger Hunt.  This is just something fun that Southwest does each month (I think?) where they give you a list of items, and you can take a picture of the item, and share it to @SouthwestAir with the hashtag #SouthwestHeart.

There aren’t any prizes or anything, so it’s just something fun that you can do.  And of course by fun, I mean “fun” (your fun mileage may vary :-D).  I could see how that might be something mildly entertaining for kids (for like 5 seconds).

Anyways, here are the items on the January 2015 Southwest scavenger hunt:

  1. A snowy plane scene
  2. Your Bags Flying Free!
  3. Your 2015 travel bucket list
  4. Southwest Heart livery
  5. Nighttime winglet shot
  6. Wintry cityscape
  7. Specialty plane
  8. A pet onboard
  9. Southwest international airport signage
  10. Peanuts and/pretzels
  11. Ticket jacket
  12. Scimitar winglet
  13. Seat selfie
  14. Southwest Wi-Fi portal (photo or screenshot)
  15. Boarding pass
  16. U.S. Landmark
  17. City skyline
  18. A Southwest gift card used to book a flight “Thanks Grandma!”
  19. Signature drink of the quarter
  20. Your hand on our Heart

With Carolyn and I on our surprise trip to Puerto Rico, here were a few of the pictures that I took.

I also had a Southwest gift card that I used to pay for our TSA fees, which was part of my strategy to use Barclay Arrival miles for smaller purchases, but I didn’t get a picture of it.
