I got an interesting email form IHG Rewards yesterday.  It was sort of a “Christmas Card”, where they thanked me for

in this year alone:
5 cities familiar and new,
7 nights of restful sleep, and
54,658 points, well deserved.

They also sent a link to https://m.ihg.com/hotels/ihg/us/en/myihgtravels, which shows me a map of all the places I’ve stayed with IHG in 2015

I’m not sure what the color coding is, but it seems to match up with green being paid stays (in Phoenix and Washington DC) as part of fulfilling my IHG Accelerate promotion, and the blue being award stays

My travel map(s)

Now one annoying thing about this is that it only shows my IHG stays and not other stays or flights.  I actually maintain a couple of different travel maps on different sites.  Here is my map of counties visited

and I also keep a map over on MostTraveledPeople.com (my review)

I keep a database of the different flights I’ve taken as well (READ: What’s the best site to track your flights?)

What kind of maps do you keep of your travels?
