March and April are great times to visit Brazil; just after peak season, the weather remains warm in most destinations. Right now, Copa and LATAM airlines are offering very good prices to several Brazilian cities in main cabin economy – seat selection and bags included. Chicago and Miami are See the coast of Bahia, the classic architecture of Sao Paulo, or hit the beaches and nightlife of Rio for up to $400 off typical prices. Routes with direct flights or relatively short layovers are available, but a little effort and flexibility in travel is needed.
Sale prices include:
Miami
- Fortaleza from $337
- Rio de Janeiro from $383
- Belém from $384
- Salvador from $392
- Manaus from $384 (long layovers on return flights)
- Sao Paulo from $458
Chicago
- Sao Paulo from $649
- Rio de Janeiro from $670
- Fortaleza from $735
- Florianópolis from $761
Seat selection is available through the airlines and with certain OTAs as well. LATAM will sometimes charge for seating ($5 – $19), but not with every route or even every flight. Even paying a few extra dollars for a decent seat doesn’t change the fact that these are good prices for early autumn in the southern hemisphere. But given the limited dates these fares are available, I would not expect prices to remain this low for long, so pack your bags and head for the Brazilian coast!
