I wanted to post a reminder about our giveaway – which ends tomorrow (Saturday December 30th) at 3pm ET. Details of the giveaway are below
I like to do a variety of giveaways on this blog, and we’ve given away anything from 10,000 Hilton points to $100 Visa cards and a few other things. The other day I was part of the grand opening of the Southwest Porch Cincinnati in Washington Park, and one of the pieces of swag that they had there was a business card sized offer for 1000 Southwest points
They were giving them out and since hey there were 8 of us there hanging out, we got “a few” of them 🙂
Then at the end they were just giving them out as everyone had left. I originally tried to add all the ones I got to my account, with visions of my account overflowing with tens of thousands of Southwest points. Alas, Southwest is smart enough to figure out that they are limited to 1 per account, so after filling up my wife’s and my account, I still have a bunch leftover.
So I thought I would use them as a giveaway

After thinking about it for awhile, I decided to make this focused on the Points With a Crew miles and points Facebook group.
I will give one of these cards away to the people that refer / add the most people to the Facebook Group. I’m sure most of us know other friends and family members who are interested in travel and learning about miles and points.
Please only refer people to the group who are actually interested. Adding people that aren’t interested and are just going to leave does nobody any good!
The cards expire on December 31st, so we will end this contest on Saturday December 30th at 3pm ET. I will send out the codes via Facebook Messenger then.

Southwest Credit Card Spend Date Problem
I opened two Southwest credit cards with the 60K bonus planning on timing the spend so I would have 2018/19. I secure messaged Chase early on and received a mid January end date for my spend. I just wrote them again, confirming that I will complete the spend around January 1 to 2 with a closing date of January 2. They wrote back and told me the spend date end was December 22nd and I had lost out. I have screen shots of the earlier SMs and have written them again but have not received a response. Wondering if anyone else is having this problem.
