Comparing Marriott Megabonus to IHG Accelerate Promotion
If you are in the middle of hotel shopping and you don’t need Marriott nights for elite requalification, it is worth comparing this to your IHG accelerate promotion offer for Q1 2017. My IHG accelerate promotion is for a total of 35,000 points after 18 nights. I won’t even bother with it since I don’t have 18 nights of hotel stay planned in the next 3 months.
Compared to Marriott’s prior Megabonus promotions, this promotion is rather weak in my opinion. But free points is better than nothing. If you have Marriott stays coming up, you might as well register for this promotion. And don’t forget to stack it with the Amex offer!

I got the same IHG Accelerate offer. I think it’s 4,000 points for the first stay, but after that it’s horrible. Has anyone ever written them and requested a better offer? 🙂
