I really enjoy the trivia website Sporcle, and had the idea the other day to come up with some airline or travel related quizzes. For my first quiz, I thought I would go with airline alliance members. I looked around on the site and there were a few existing, but they were incomplete or in some places completely incorrect, so I had to make my own 🙂

See if you can name all 13 oneworld alliance members (without cheating!). You have a 2 minute timer to do it, and if you’re really good, see if you can find the 6 bonus “hidden” answers. If you’d rather play the quiz on the full Sporcle site, here is the link
Quiz Link: Can you name the oneworld airline alliance members?
Leave a note in the comments with how you did! If you got all 13, make sure and leave the time it took you, and we’ll figure out who the grand champion of useless airline trivia REALLY is!!!
If you’re up for more airline alliance trivia, try the Star Alliance and SkyTeam quizzes!

12/15. I’m ashamed.
Royal Jordanian I forgot. Sri Lankan I am not familiar with and is an honest unknown. TAM…I thought merges with LAN
This needs to be updated since Air Berlin is no more.
As a veteran quiz-maker (Dark Phalanx) I have to give you some tips. First, make sure to change the colors. Nothing says “amateur quiz” like the default black and gray. Secondly, you have to accept more. RJ for Royal Jordanian, BA for British Airways, etc. You don’t even include LATAM, even though it’s currently a more right answer than LAN.
Good start, but polish it
Thanks James – I saved your comment so I could take your advice then remembered…. it’s not actually my quiz so I can’t edit it 🙂
I got 12.
But – of the three I didn’t get, Air Berlin is out of business, and TAM is now LATAM (I wasted 20 seconds typing in LATAM which was rejected, and then assumed LAN covered both).
The one I genuinely missed was S7.
13/13 with 1 minute remaining
Yay, all 13 with 44 secs to spare! Clearly know my OneWorld better than Star Alliance. But then again, 3 airlines from China in Star is a bit of a cheat!
