New Southwest bonus shopping offer

The payout rates vary quite a bit from portal to portal, and from merchant to merchant, and even over time.  I’ve had good luck with shopping portals in the past (SEE ALSO: My experience with 19x points through shopping portals at Sears), and from time to time, in ADDITION to the regular portal payouts, there are bonuses.

I just got an email from Southwest offering 300 bonus points if you spend $150 or more through their online shopping portal.  It’s good from now until 2/25 (so only a week or so) but in the meantime, it would be an extra 2 points / $1 on your purchases

At the bottom of the email, it does say that this is specifically for me, so this may be a targeted promotion – check your email to see if you got one!

(Update: Kirsten from the American Travel Project said on Twitter that her bonus was just 100 free points
