In early 2024, we traveled up to the Cleveland area to visit the 2024 solar eclipse. We were planning on viewing the eclipse with my parents, but since they have downsized, they don’t have room for all of us at their place. I looked at a few different Cleveland airport hotel options and eventually decided to book the Marriott Courtyard Cleveland Airport North. This Marriott Courtyard Cleveland Airport North review will give an idea of the different amenities and features and hopefully help you decide if you want to stay here if you’re looking for a Cleveland airport hotel.
Courtyard Cleveland Airport North location
The Marriott Courtyard Cleveland Airport North is located at 24901 Country Club Boulevard, North Olmsted, Ohio, 44070. This is in the Cleveland suburb of North Olmsted, near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. It’s actually quite near the Hampton Inn North Olmsted Cleveland Airport, where I’ve stayed on a previous trip.
Courtyard Cleveland Airport North cost
Cash prices at the Courtyard Cleveland Airport North for the dates of the solar eclipse when I stayed there were insane at over $500 / night.
We booked it for 19,500 Marriott Bonvoy points per night, giving us over 3 cents per point which is an incredible deal for Marriott Bonvoy points. Cash prices for other dates are in the $125-$150 range which means that you’d be closer in line to what Marriott Bonvoy points are worth. I was just glad that my eclipse hotel didn’t cancel my reservation on me

Courtyard Cleveland Airport North review – room
We had reserved a room with 2 queen beds at the Courtyard Cleveland Airport North, which was exactly what we got.
There was a desk and TV opposite the beds
The bathroom was off to the side when you first walk in
One interesting thing is that on the 2nd floor, they had a section of the hotel cordoned off for the Cleveland Clinic Sleep Disorders center, which is something I’ve never seen before. I guess the Cleveland Clinic has rented off a section of the hotel to run their sleep disorders center.
Marriott Courtyard Cleveland Airport North wifi and amenities
Wifi is complimentary in the lobby and in the guest rooms for Marriott members. The Marriott Courtyard Cleveland Airport North wifi speed was quite good.
As you can imagine, nobody in my family had any trouble doing anything on the Internet while we were there. There is a Courtyard Cleveland Airport North indoor pool with hot tub, and it’s larger than many pools in similar kinds of hotels that I’ve seen.
There is also a Courtyard Cleveland Airport North fitness center, which overlooks the pool.
Laundry at the Courtyard Cleveland Airport North is one washer and one dryer. Each machine costs $2 in quarters to run for one cycle.
There isn’t really a separate business center, but there are two computers in the lobby with a printer that you could use as needed.
There is a Courtyard Cleveland Airport North airport shuttle which runs periodically. Contact the hotel for operating times.
Courtyard Cleveland Airport North hotel review – parking
The Courtyard Cleveland Airport North parking is directly attached to the hotel and is complimentary. Even when the hotel was pretty full (during the 2024 solar eclipse), we had no trouble finding a parking space.
Courtyard Cleveland Airport North food
One downside of the Courtyard Cleveland Airport North is that there is not complimentary breakfast included.

Instead, there is a bar area, which is open in the evenings as well as in the morning.
Here’s a quick look at the menu with prices, if you want to order either breakfast or dinner. We opted to not have breakfast at the hotel
There is also a market near the front desk with overpriced snacks and drinks
I know that these “markets” are always overpriced but man, these prices are even more out of control than most.
The Bottom Line – Marriot Courtyard Cleveland Airport North hotel review
Overall this was a good stay if you need to stay in Cleveland near the Cleveland Hopkins airport. The room was comfortable and the location was ideal. The water pressure in the bathroom was great in the shower. It’s a bit of a bummer that there is no complimentary breakfast, but that’s known going in, so adjust your expectations. During the eclipse, cash rates were pushing $500 a night, so it was an amazing deal on Marriott Bonvoy points as well, but check both cash and points rates for your stay. The Courtyard Cleveland Airport North can definitely be a great option if you’re looking for a Cleveland airport hotel.

Is this a drinking game to see if I’d make it to the end without dying? If I take a shot every time you wrote “Courtyard Cleveland Airport North”…terrible writing style, lazy sloppy template, or just fluffing to reach a word count. Regardless, it’s bad writing that detracts from the article l.

Breakfast has never been included at most, if not all, Courtyards in the US.
Yup. You are right.
