So September 30th was the last date of the official “Refer a Friend” promotion to get the 50,000 mile bonus on the Southwest Premier personal credit card.
The link I have still seems to work, although it does say you have to apply by September 30th.
I’m not sure what will happen if you apply there, given that it’s October, but there are a few other places you can still get the 50,000 Southwest mile offer. I’ve mentioned before that one of them is actually IN the airport, but if you don’t want to go there, I noticed one other place that might work.
While I was on a recent plane trip (before I had to wait over an hour for my rental car shuttle), I leafed through the brochures in the seat pocket in front of me and what did I find?
(Sorry for the picture of my legs – it’s cramped quarters sitting back in Economy!!)
The link of www.southwest.com/inflight goes to https://creditcards.chase.com/a1/southwest/2rtfosam1 – which takes you to the following screen
I love Southwest – ever since we got the Southwest Companion Pass, Carolyn flies free with me any time we fly, whether we pay or use points. We flew our family of 8 to Reno for a family vacation (where another passenger told me that I was the type of person who shouldn’t have children), and my wife and I have also used it twice on getaway weekends (the best deal since it’s like Buy 1 Get 1 Free!)
If you’re still looking for the 50,000 mile bonus, glad to give you another option I’ve seen available.
