SPG has a bid / buy section of their site called SPG Moments. SPG Moments gives you access to using your SPG points for special experiences. Sometimes they are things that are available to the general public, but other times your SPG points can give you access to things that you would not be able to buy even with cash. I know in the past there have been packages at the US Open and right now you can use your SPG points for tickets as well as exclusive access to other Major League Baseball postseason games
SPG Moments
You can access the full collection of MLB postseason items here.
Because it is still unknown who most of the baseball postseason teams will be, much of the site still has placeholder text. One matchup that is up for auction involves the Chicago Cubs
Some of these items are packages that you can buy, and others are auctions that you bid on. Obviously these will become much more attractive when we figure out what and where these games will actually be played.
Here’s an example of one that’s an auction and an experience that you couldn’t really buy – watching batting practice on field.
45,000 SPG points for 2 game tickets is a heavy price, but it may be one that you’re willing to pay!
Ever used your miles and points for an experience like this?
