Travel Bag Buddy travel organizer features
The Travel Bag Buddy travel organizer comes as 2 different parts. First is a travel organizer that can wrap (with velcro) around the handles of your rollerboard suitcase. It also comes with straps that allow you to secure your 2nd bag (smaller personal item) to your rollerboard allowing you to keep a hand free

This looks like an interesting item. But I find that I need to be able to quickly lower my bag handle for various reasons: TSA, overhead bin, etc. So at first glance this looks like it would be a time wasting contraption to attach and detach. I can see me holding up the boarding process trying to take this off and lower my handle and get my baggage into the overhead.
Hi,
Full disclosure this is my product. We designed the Travel Bag Buddy with exactly what your saying in mind. The Velcro panels detach in seconds from around your handle. You can then fold them back on themselves while the Travel Bag Buddy remains attached to your secondary bag.
For security you can leave your loose items inside instead of in your suitcase. After it attaches in seconds around your handle.
On the plane it can remain attached around your secondary bag when placed in the overhead. It takes the same amount of time as a sleeve but offers way more features and works with secondary bags and can secure even a third item like a coat.
Hope this helps to clarify!

Manny can you do an article on how do you go about designing something. I get that you find something missing that can fill one of your needs and you have an idea. After that? Who designs? Who actually selects the materials? Manufactures them ?
I can’t imagine you do that on your own. How/where do you network and make connections to find people to fill the other roles.
Hi,
firstly I would like to say that I did not do it alone, my amazing wife Anna was there every step of the way working on design and a lot more. The challenges are ongoing for creating a product. I have learned that you will make many mistakes, its how you recover address the problem and ensure you do not make the same mistake twice that leads to success. We did all the design ourselves, material selection ourselves and work with strategic partners for the manufacturing.
We are constantly working to improve and stabilize our supply chain so we can have long term success. Finding the right partners is key and it takes a lot of resourcefulness, networking and research to do so.
All that aside, we are beyond grateful to the backers who supported us on Kickstarter and Indiegogo to make this possible. The end goal for us is to provide the highest quality product we can for the consumer so they are happy and satisfied.
I will look into writing a blog post perhaps in the future. Right now we are still doing the hard work.

I just signed up for this and look forward to getting one. I have a strap gadget that attaches to my rolling bag handle and goes around the top bag but it has to stay with the rolling bag and makes it difficult getting that into the upper bin. Used it twice, now it collects dust. But it was not a problem lowering the handle. I also have a bag that slips over the handle – that one is quite difficult to get off the handle and I do hold up traffic in the aisle. So now I just balance the underseat bag on my rolling bag and hope for the best.
