Occasionally I see some interesting travel related products being crowd funded that I think you guys might be interested in. Today I wanted to talk a bit about the KIF Toothbrush Kit, which bills itself as the Pocket-Sized Titanium Toothbrush Kit For On-The-Go.

KIF Tootbrush Kit features
The KIF Toothbrush kit is made by the same company that made the Outlery pocket-sized cutlery and chopsticks, which we covered back in 2019. The KIF Tootbrush Kit bills itself as a pocket-sized toothbrush kit. Like the Outlery pocket-sized cutlery, the KIF toothbrush kit was born from the idea that many of these important dental hygiene items get thrown away each year. According to the team, each year an individual in the US, on average, uses 4 plastic toothbrushes, 6 tubes of toothpaste and 7 packs of dental floss, most if not all of which end up in the landfill or oceans. So the KIF toothbrush kit aims to solve that. The brush itself is titanium and the bristles are eco-friendly and replaceable.

Putting a metal toothbrush in my mouth is not ever going to be a good idea. Worse than fingernails on a chalkboard, yikes. Besides this obvious issue being that’s, it is metal might also attract additional screening at airport security checkpoints I’ll bet.
