The IcyFlow portable air conditioner is on Kickstarter and has currently raised over USD$115,000 from a $5,000 initial goal. It is scheduled to be on Kickstarter only through February 11th (next Saturday) so you only have a few days left to back this if you’re interested. Air conditioners cool the air heading towards you by heating the air heading away from you… so I’m confused at the use cases other than literally those shown in the pictures – on a picnic table or something. You wouldn’t be able to use this in a car, or a tent, or even in an area with more than 2-3 people because someone would end up sitting on the heating end of the unit or else getting no benefit at all.
I normally like your blog a lot, but would recommend you look at the comments on KickStarter for this product before you advertise for them.
