JetBlue just extended its schedule through January 7, 2019. This might be the best time to book your Thanksgiving and Christmas travel.
I looked up fares for JetBlue’s MINT service between San Francisco and New York JFK, and was able to find $559 one-way fare for weekend before Thanksgiving. That is fantastic fare for this route with flatbed services and more. My family flew MINT from Fort Lauderdale to SFO earlier this year and absolutely loved it. It was the best domestic business class we have ever experienced.

Alternatively, you can use 42,200 TrueBlue points for the same MINT seat!
Jetblue offers some really cheap fares for short-haul flights. For example, from San Jose airport in S.F. Bay Area to Long Beach, fares can be found as low as $49 one-way, or 2600 points plus $5.60! Anyone from the Bay Area want to go to Disneyland? or to the Rose Parade on New’s Year’s Day?
Where to get JetBlue points
JetBlue is a transfer partner with both Amex Membership Rewards and Citi Thank You program. Normal transfer ratio from Membership Rewards to TrueBlue is 250:200, while ThankYou points are transferred at either 1000 ThankYou to either 800 or 500 TrueBlue points depending on the type of ThankYou card you hold. But through May 19, Citi is offering a 30% bonus on transfers to TrueBlue program.
