It’s been a tough go for airlines recently and many are offering incentives to customers. We have seen these come in the way of increased points on bookings, added bonuses for spend on branded credit cards and lowered requirements to achieve status. JetBlue recently send out an email with some updates to their program. Here are the main highlights.
All New Bookings Earn Double TrueBlue Points
For all travel booked today through June 15, 2020, customers will earn double the TrueBlue point award on all bookings. For Blue Basic fares, that’s two points per dollar (vs. the usual one point). For Blue fares and above, including Mint, that’s six points per dollar (vs. the usual three points).
Mosaic Qualification Thresholds Reduced
Qualifying for Mosaic status in 2020 just got easier by 50%.
- 7,500 Mosaic qualifying points (vs. the usual 15,000 points)
- 6,000 Mosaic qualifying points and 15 segments (vs. the usual 12,000 points and 30 segments)
As before, customers may also qualify for Mosaic through $50,000 of spend per calendar year on the JetBlue Plus Card or JetBlue Business Card.
What Else?
Besides these updates, JetBlue will continue to waive change and cancellation fees for new bookings. They have also added extra precautions to keep customers and crewmembers safe. Those are detailed here.
