Flyertalk user YHVH spotted a great deal: New York’s JFK to Lima, Peru from $170 round trip. With a little more searching, I was able to find multiple deals from around the U.S. on very limited dates in April and May. If you are unable to travel on the absolute lowest prices, there are scattered sale dates available for $10 – $60 more, depending on the city, during the same time frame. This looks to be an extension of Interjet’s wider sale from last month.
- New York from $170
- Dallas from $210
- Miami from $257
- Chicago from $265
All sale prices are for 1 & 2 stop routes, so they are best if you can spare some extra time for the trip. Interjet economy includes a carry-on bag but no seat selection. When testing prices during the last sale I was sometimes assigned a window seat, and you may find there’s little reason to pay for a “better” seat on your flight. Interestingly, when testing these prices sometime booking directly was cheaper than using an online travel agency, and sometimes the opposite was true. Either way, the cheapest prices are probably only available for a short time, so move quickly!
