Amazon has recently updated the terms of their partnership with Grubhub. Whereas it used to be that you would get a complimentary 12 months of Grubhub’s premium service Grubhub+, you can now get Grubhub+ for free as long as you are an Amazon Prime member. Please note that all links on this (and any post) include my Amazon affiliate link. As an Amazon associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.

What do you get with Grubhub+?

Grubhub+ is Grubhub’s premium service, and comes with a few benefits:

  • $0 delivery fees
  • Lower service fees
  • 5% back on pickup orders
  • Exclusive offers

While I personally have given up on food delivery services as too overpriced for me, I can see some situations where they can make sense, especially if you have a coupon / deal and/or you have a monthly credit such as one from the American Express® Business Gold Card (see rates and fees).

It’s pretty easy to link your accounts – just sign in to both of your accounts on the Amazon / Grubhub promotion page.

And as always – check out the current Amazon deals to see what else might interest you.

Amazon GrubHub Coupons

Amazon also occasionally offers Amazon Grubhub coupons and promotions. Here are a few that I have seen:

  • 2/4/25: New code GET10 for $10 off a $30 Grubhub order. This promo code is set to be good from February 7th through Feb. 17th

Terms and conditions of these promos state that:

  • Limit 1 redemption per user
  • Code can be manually entered by Prime members with Grubhub+ during checkout when shopping Grubhub on Amazon.com or the Amazon Shopping app
  • Not valid for use on orders containing alcohol or use on catering or group orders

(H/T: Doctor of Credit)

More Ways To Save Money at Amazon

Amazon often has promotions where you can get a percentage or dollar value off a purchase by using at least 1 credit card point (like Chase Ultimate Rewards, American Express Membership Rewards, etc). These deals are typically targeted, but it’s a good idea to regularly check if you’re eligible, because these deals come around quite a bit. Note that it is generally a bad value to use your points to shop at Amazon, but it’s definitely worth using 1 point to save $20 – $50.

Good luck and happy shopping
