Award Wallet is one of my favorite miles and points tools. Â I use it to keep track of all my miles and points balances, and it’s a good way to keep on top of those balances as well as monitor your accounts for any unauthorized or fraudulent activity. Â When I came up with my Top 10 miles and points tools, Award Wallet came in at #1
Readers must agree, since when we did the Travel Hacking March Mayhem championship, Award Wallet sailed through the 16 tool bracket, coming in at #1 there too.
Award Wallet free service
Award Wallet has a free basic service, which is generally good or most people. Â It allows you to track balances in just about every frequent flier program out there (airline, hotel, and even many store rewards programs). Â The upgraded system has a few extra features
Award Wallet upgrade codes
Thanks to Award Wallet, I’m giving away 179 free Award Wallet upgrade codes. Last time we did this a few months ago, although I tried to space them out a bit, it was mostly just a matter of first come, first serve at whatever timezone is convenient to people when the post goes up.  So this time we’re going to do it a little bit differently
How to get your Award Wallet upgrade codes
What tends to happen when a large list of Award Wallet codes is posted is that many of the codes get taken, which, coupled with the 5 minute timeout delay that Award Wallet enforces for entering codes, leads to people getting frustrated and not getting a code, even when many of the codes are still available. Â In talking with a few folks, I decided to give away the codes on the Points With a Crew Slack channel. Â We have a good group of hundreds of people talking miles and points in real-time.
How to get your free codes
- Join the Points With a Crew Slack Channel by sending an email to dan@pointswithacrew.com. Â I typically respond within 6-24 hours depending on the time of day.
- Once you join, post a notice in the #referrals channel asking for a code
- Someone will DM you a code good for a 6 month trial of Award Wallet Plus.
Please don’t leave a comment here on this post – those will be ignored. Â If you don’t want to join and participate in the Points With a Crew Slack channel that’s fine – there will be other opportunities upcoming to get codes.

OK; I’ve sent the requested e-mail to dan@pointswithacrew.com and have already received a reply (thanks!) but when I click on the “channels” link in Slack, I don’t see a “referrals” channel. Where is one supposed to post their request for a free AwardWallet upgrade code?
Hello !
I will send an email now. But what is a DM ?
Does it mean Direct Mail? I do not know how to text (if that is what DM means) since I do not have a smart phone.
Hope I can get started. Thanks,
