I’m a big fan of collecting miles and points in any way that I can. And while you will often get the highest amount of points through judicious use of credit card signup bonuses, I also tend to try and take advantage of smaller deals to get miles and points. After all, even small amounts of miles and points can add up

The latest deal I saw is where you can get up to 2500 Marriott Bonvoy points for linking your Uber account, if you haven’t linked them before.
The Deal – Marriott Bonvoy Points For Linking Your Uber Account
Here’s a direct link to the deal, which comes in 3 stages
- 500 points for linking your Marriott Bonvoy and Uber accounts
- 1000 points for taking a qualifying ride with Uber
- 1000 points for placing a qualifying food or grocery order with Uber Eats
You can read the fine print on the deal page and below, but a few things to watch out for
- This deal is only available if you haven’t linked your accounts before. Marriott and Uber have had a partnership for awhile, so it’s possible you’ve already linked your account.
- This is only good for accounts with a U.S. phone number, and the Uber and Uber Eats transaction must occur in the United States.
- The qualifying Uber ride must be taken with Uber XL, Uber Black, Uber SUV, or Uber Comfort (it looks like a regular Uber does not count)
- The Uber Eats order must be at least USD$40
How To Link Your Marriott And Uber Accounts
It’s pretty easy to link your Marriott and Uber accounts – you’ll do it in the Uber app itself. Here’s a step-by-step set of instructions, courtesy of Marriott.

The Bottom Line
If you haven’t linked your Marriott and Uber accounts, this can be a pretty easy way to get a few Marriott Bonvoy points. 500 points just for linking your accounts is a no brainer. And while I wouldn’t go out of my way to ride Uber or use UberEats just for 1000 Bonvoy points, it’s a nice little bonus if you’re already using them.
Good luck – let us know if you’re able to get the bonus points
