Possibly one of the best travel deals we’ve seen this year comes from everyone’s love-to-hate airline, Frontier. Known almost exclusively for its insanely cheap fares and plethora of add on fees, many choose legacy airlines over this low-cost carrier. However, Frontier is currently offering an insane deal for those with families- now extended through November!
The Offer
We’ve already covered this promotion in a previous post, but the basic details of the promotion are these:
- Receive one free child’s (14 and under) ticket per purchased adult ticket.
- You must be a Discount Den ($60 cost) member.
- The offer is only valid on initial bookings.
Previously, the window for booking extended only to the beginning of August. However, as first reported by Deals We Like, the promotion has been extended all the way through November 19th. Take a look at these dates:
- March – 20, 26, 27
- April – 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30
- May – 1, 4, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 18, 21, 22, 29
- June – 1, 4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26
- July – 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30
- August – 5, 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28
- September – 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25
- October – 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30
- November – 5, 6, 12, 13, 19
The highlighted dates are all the new ones currently available.
What Does This Mean?
Previously, we speculated that this could be a longstanding promotion. While it’s still not clear if this is a limited time offer, the fact that they’ve extended the dates bodes well. The fine print at the bottom specifies that you must book before 11:59pm Eastern Time March 31st, 2019– in much the same way that the previous promotion required booking before January 28th, 2019. Hopefully they continue to extend, as this offer can be super beneficial to families looking to fly.

Really enjoy reading your blog, but I’m not sure I’d call anything that involves having to fly Frontier “amazing”. There are many who would pay full fare for their kids just to avoid it
Frontier is just fine for what it is. Yes, there are potential problems and things to watch out for with Frontier, but on the routes they fly, there are a lot of reasons to fly them nonstop vs. connecting (and likely paying more) on a legacy airline.
