I was excited to hear the announcement in June 2024 that several Escape Lounges had joined the Priority Pass network, including the Escape Lounge CVG in my home airport.

The Escape Lounge CVG is a Priority Pass lounge, so if you have a Priority Pass membership (likely from a credit card), you’ll have complimentary access to Escape Lounge CVG. If you don’t have Priority Pass, you can buy a day pass to the Escape Lounge CVG for as low as $32/ person, which I would not recommend
Priority Pass CVG / Cincinnati airport lounge location
The Escape Lounge CVG is most convenient if you are flying Delta or American Airlines in Concourse B. It’s located outside Gate B20 in Concourse B.
While Concourse A and Concourse B are accessible post-security, if you are flying out of Concourse A, you’ll probably want to visit The Club CVG, which is a Priority Pass lounge in Concourse A.
The Escape Lounge CVG airport lounge is open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time. If you have a flight outside those hours, you unfortunately will not be able to use The Cincinnati Escape Lounge Priority Pass lounge.
Escape Lounge CVG Priority Pass Cincinnati airport lounge seating
There aren’t a ton of seating options available at the Escape Lounge CVG. The check-in desk is right at the entrance to the lounge, and there is a small seating area to your right.
There are also a few seats to your left, along with a raised table that has 8 seats.
Cincinnati Concourse B airport lounge review: food
This Cincinnati Airport (CVG) Priority Pass lounge had basic availability for food. I have been there both during breakfast time (around 6 a.m.) as well as for lunch / dinner, where they have a different menu, as pictured below.
I had the eggs and sausage
Along with an apple cinnamon muffin.
I have also visited the Escape Lounge CVG during the lunch / dinner hours – here’s what the buffet looked like then
There is water, lemonade, coffee and an espresso machine. There are also canned soft drinks, but I think this is literally the first time I’ve ever seen canned soft drinks in a minifridge in a lounge like this and there was no Diet Coke. It was just Coke, Sprite and then I think a ginger ale. Not a big deal but it was unusual. I did hear from one of the commenters that they did have Diet Coke there when she visited, but there hasn’t been any on any of my visits. The 3rd time I was at the Escape CVG Lounge, there WAS Diet Coke there, and I commented to the lounge staff about it and she said that they constantly run out of it because it’s all anyone wants to drink. So… there’s that 😀
There is also a bar available
Escape Lounge CVG airport lounge wifi
The Priority Pass CVG wifi in the Escape Lounge CVG Lounge was moderate. I didn’t have any trouble doing light browsing.
Priority Pass CVG / Cincinnati Concourse B Airport lounge amenities
The Cincinnati Airport Escape Lounge CVG does not have much in the way of amenities. It’s pretty much just the complimentary wifi and seating. Similar to The Club CVG in Concourse A, there are not even restrooms in the lounge – instead, you’ll need to make your way back into the terminal.
In any case, I rate the Escape Lounge CVG lounge decent and I would definitely recommend it if you are departing Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG) with a Priority Pass card out of Concourse B. But if you’re flying out of Concourse A, I would stick with The Club CVG – there’s no reason to make a special trip to the other concourse.

I recently stopped in the Escape Lounge CVG as I was flying in business class on British Airways, which entitles you to visit for free, at least until you get kicked out at 8 PM while waiting for a 9:50 PM departure to London.
I was mostly disappointed with the lounge. The food selection at that hour was pretty meager and I had some doubts about the freshness of things like the Asian slaw. The plates in the buffet appeared to be dirty. They were understaffed with the individual working the door also running the bar.
But the drinks were still readily available and the seating in the space is generally well appointed. Bottom line: use it if you have access but don’t go out of your way for it.
Yup – that is my bottom line analysis as well.
I think I’ve had better experiences in this lounge than you have. (And sorry that I seem to have drunk all the Diet Coke! They’ve had it in the mini-fridge or by request when I visited.) The food has been good and I think there are more hot/cooked options than what’s available at the Club lounge in Concourse A. I like the variety.
Definitely it’s understaffed–usually it seems there is one cook who is supplying the food and one person who is trying to manage the front desk and also tend bar. That’s a lot for those two people to handle during busy times, though I’ve always had great service.
And definitely, you’re right that the seating is limited. It’s a super-small lounge. As of now, my AmEx Platinum lets me bring in a guest for free, since it’s part of the Escape network rather than the Centurion network. I predict the day is coming when that guest access will cease to be free, just to reduce the overcrowding. I live in dread of that day! 🙁
