If you follow college football, you already know, it is Tigers-Tide round two as Clemson and Alabama tangle in the College Football Championship for the second season in a row!. Whether you are a Tigers or Crimson Tide fan, you probably want to go to the big game in Tampa this coming Monday.
If you live in Alabama and haven’t booked your flight yet, procrastination just worked in your favor! Delta quietly added special nonstop flights to Tampa from both Birmingham and Huntsville, a route that normally require a layover in Atlanta.
Nonstop from Huntsville and Birmingham to Tampa this weekend
Fans will be able to fly out of two Alabama cities on both Saturday January 7 and Sunday January 9. As the moment, the flight from Huntsville has tickets for sale in all three classes of service, while flights from Birmingham is only available in coach. Both fares are actually cheaper than those flights routing through Atlanta. Using miles may not be a good option. For example the Huntsville flight will cost you over 30,000 Skymiles!
The return flights from Tampa operates on Tuesday January 10.
I am not able to find any availability for the flight to Birmingham (it might have sold out), but the 9am flight to Huntsville is still available at this moment.
Are you heading to the big game this weekend?
