I think its ironic that they diss the need for money, yet start a gofundme. They deserve everything they got….
They bought the boat for $5k and put another $5K into it. The GoFundMe is over $15K. Sounds like a profit.
It’s sad how people relish others misfortunes. First to publish this to get “hits” second to criticize them on the Go fund Me. One should read the real story not this crap posted just to get hits
Puuuuleeeeze! These morons bought a sailboat for $5,000. If anyone tells you that they bought their boat for that much and put $5k more into it and want to take you for a sail just politely decline. I wouldn’t get on a pontoon boat someone bought for $5,000.
They are lucky the damn thing sank where it did and not out at sea where they probably would have died. Absolutely unbelievable that this gets any notice whatsoever….
what dumb dumbs. they spend $10K on a boat they didn’t know how to sail. worse yet, they’re 24 and 26 years old and grew “tired” of working like normal people. and now they’re begging people for money and they’ve already raised more than they’ve lost. entitled white trash lazy a**holes. i’ve been working since i was 16 which is why i’ve made enough money to afford the things i want to have a comfortable life. no sympathy for these dumb dumbs.
A fool and his money is soon parted. Same as if someone throws all their money in bitcoin, or in options, or in roullette. Throwing all your money in any single investment is just plain stupid. Do I get sympathy on ur blog if I make stupid life choices too?
The United “horror stories” are both weather related cancellations and it sounds like United did a great job of helping her work around the issues. Hardly a United horror story. I have had far worse service from both Air Canada and American
