My favorite reward currency is Chase Ultimate Rewards. I like them mostly because a) they’re so easy to earn, and b) they have so many useful transfer partners.
I first saw it at Running With Miles, but I’ve also seen it out of Frequent Miler’s Quick Deals (one of the few things I’ve signed up to get auto-emailed to me)
If I put my cynical hat on, I’ll wonder if we’ll see as much talk about this if it’s only branch with no affiliate links! 🙂 (Okay that was mean)
One important note is that the first year annual fee of $95 on this version is NOT waived.
The Chase Ink is a business card, but even if you don’t think you have a business, you can still apply (and be approved). Â I had one as part of my first ever credit card churn, and my wife got one a few months ago when the bonus was 60K.
So am I bummed about missing out on this extra bonus? Well, sort of yes and sort of no. Yes I missed out on 10K Ultimate Rewards, but Chase has a pretty good history of matching bonuses.
I sent them a secure message through the website asking to have the bonus matched and we’ll see how it goes!
What about you? Did you or will you apply for this card? Let me know in the comments

I was just about to apply for this card, so I’m going to march into a branch today and see if the 70,000 offer is available! 🙂 I’ll let you know how it turns out.
So I went into the bank and at first the banker said he couldn’t get me this card because I don’t have a Chase business checking account. Then he called the banker helpline and found out he could create a “business profile” for me without a checking account. So then he applied for me and said I would find out in 10 days. Should I call the reconsideration line?
Up to you. Generally I’ve found that sometimes it just works without calling but I’ve never found it to hurt to call
I got approved!
