Lots of East Coast flying! Most of the cheapest flights are out of Boston, with flights to Newark and New York-LGA. It seems like they are competing with Amtrak here, as a one-way train ticket on this corridor usually runs $49.

What about the West Coast?

Long Beach also has some really inexpensive intra-California flights and to nearby states, with flights to Las Vegas and Reno/Tahoe both under $40.

Conclusion

If you can make one of these fares work for you, it’s an awesome way to save money, especially if you’re escaping to somewhere warm! Book early, as fares sell out quickly, and remember that you can use TrueBlue points for these low fares as well!

Were you able to book one of these fares? If so, where are you going?
