It was a bit of a light week here at Points With a Crew. Here’s what most of the week looked like here in Ohio
My kids were off of school EVERY. DAY. THIS. WEEK. I think perhaps our school superintendent was on vacation in Florida? :-). I say we just call this week “Spring Break” and send ’em to school during the original Spring Break! I did learn important things about how it is much easier to build a giant snowball than it is to lift said giant snowball on top of another giant snowball….
Anyway, some snow fun (and lots of snow “fun”), but not as much time for posting. In any case, here’s what you may have missed this week from Points With a Crew.
- If you’re denied for a Barclay card, here is the Barclay reconsideration phone number and website
- Hyatt is rolling out a new promotion where holders of the Chase Hyatt card get a 20% rebate on all hotel night redemptions between now and July. If you’re thinking about getting the Hyatt card to take part in this promotion, make sure and see how you can get an extra $50 statement credit from the regular public offer.
- If you belong to the Southwest Rapid Rewards program, make sure and check your email for a possibly targeted shopping promotion. I got 750 bonus points after $150 in spend but some people reported getting a free 100 points.
- And finally, it’s time for the annual Freddie Awards, where you can vote on the top airline and hotel loyalty programs. Here were my votes for the best of this past year – have you voted yet?
And if you liked these posts – you can always check out the top posts from the week before as well! United’s “Great Dane”, Southwest’s devaluation, Delta’s new award chart and more!
