Did you know that American Express will “forfeit” your Membership Rewards points if you don’t pay the bill on time?
I ran into a situation where I had 11,436 forfeited Membership Rewards points from nearly 18 months ago!
Thankfully, after a quick live chat with American Express, I was able to get most of my 11,436 forfeited American Express points back.
One of the biggest news items this month was most people’s Bluebirds and Serve accounts getting shut down. My account was NOT shut down for some reason
Here is the best attempts at finding a pattern to whose accounts were and were not shut down.
The IHG Priceless Surprises promotion has been in the news a lot lately. First we filled out 188 index cards and envelopes to win 100,000 hotel points.
So then I started wondering – When should I be worried about my 94 envelopes? Especially when some reports started coming in that some people’s plays were coming back as non-winning.
Thankfully, my emails have finally started coming in, and I’ve played about 1/3 of them so far.
There was a bit of drama trying to fund my Citigold checking account back in December
But finally, the miles from my $39,000 purchase finally posted!
We are in the process of trying to book a round the world trip. The first try at booking …. did not end up so well
But then we finally got that RTW ticket booked – for a total of 159,500 miles and $148.86 – now it’s just time to figure out the visa situation!
Upgrading my ticket to first class cost me 25,000 miles… plus an extra 80 cents – the best 80 cents I’ve ever spent!
