Alaska Airlines has been in the news lately – most recently they announced nonstop service from their Seattle hub to 3 new locations.

The Bank of America Alaska Airlines was a great card to get as it has been widely known that it is one of the few cards that is “churnable” (i.e. you can get several of them without closing the early ones).  I had not been that interested in Alaska Airlines until I realized that they have great mileage partners that you can use (including the Emirates First Class shower in the sky!

Applying for the Bank of America Alaska Airlines card

I applied for the Bank of America Alaska card a few months ago and was getting ready to apply again.  The “standard” personal offer is for 25,000 Alaska Airlines miles after first purchase, for a (non-waived) annual fee of $75

But there is a BETTER offer for an additional $100 statement credit after $1000 in purchases.

I was going there as part of a recent churn today, but now when you do, you now get the following screen

It’s also reported on the Flyertalk thread about the card.  Alaska / Bank of America has been known to change the offer around, so I would assume that a similar offer will show up before too long.
