Last week we talked about the American Express Blue Business Plus card – one of the best cards for every day spend. It gives 2x Membership Rewards for the first $50,000 in spend and is my go-to card for everyday spending when I’m not working on a minimum spend (which, admittedly, is not too terribly often 😀 )

For the past year or so, it has not had a signup bonus at all, but now you can get 10,000 Membership Rewards if you sign up through someone else’s referral link. My link for 10,000 Membership Rewards is here, and you can share yours on the appropriate post in the Points With a Crew free miles and points Facebook group
Another card now has a signup bonus!
The Citi Premier card is another card that has periodically had a signup bonus but has not had one for a long time. I just got news that the signup bonus on the Citi Premier card is back – you can now earn 50,000 bonus ThankYou® Points after you spend $4,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening
Citi Premier 50k offer benefits
The Citi Premier card gives ThankYou points, which can be used as “cash” points with a fixed value of 1.25 cents per point, but can also be used to transfer to airline and hotel partners, which generally can give you even more value.
In addition to the “stalwarts” like JetBlue, Etihad and Singapore, you might consider transferring to Cathay Pacific Asia Miles – how’s business class to Europe for 80K points sound?

Or fly United domestically for half the price on Avianca’s award chart
You do also earn 3x points on travel including gas stations. 2x points on Dining out and Entertainment and 1x on everything else. No foreign transaction fees either. If you have any of the other Citibank cards that give ThankYou points, you can combine all of your ThankYou points into one account.
