Hot off the heels of Chase announcing a series of refer a friend offers, I logged in to my American Express card and noticed that there were some similar offers loaded in the “My Offers” section. Normally I think of those as where I go to get the Amex Sync offers

But this has some potential as well! In looking back through Google and such, I see that this is not the first time that American Express refer a friend offers have happened, though I have not seen anyone publish this latest series of offers, and it does appear to be fairly wide-spread

But where did the American Express Refer a Friend go?

My wife has the Every Day Preferred card, and so I had her “Refer Now” to send a referral to me, which showed up in my inbox last Saturday

Isn’t my wife so sweet over form letter?!?! 🙂

But now when I go log in, I see

It’s the same (no American Express refer a friend link) whether I look at my account (which still seems to have the old look and feel, see above) or Carolyn’s, which is the new look and feel / style.

So maybe it was something that they are planning on rolling out soon but pulled because they weren’t ready for it to hit prime time yet?

What about you? Do you see any American Express refer a friend offers?
