With 2016 coming to a close, we also are coming up on the 3 year anniversary of Points With a Crew, which started back in January 2014.  It’s been a great run and I could not be more excited about the future as we look into 2017 and beyond.

Looking back at the top posts of 2016, I thought I’d run a short series of the top posts of 2016 at Points With a Crew.  These more or less are the most visited posts by blog visitors in 2016 (only including posts actually written in 2016), and are pretty highly correlated with a list of my most popular posts.

So, without further ado, here are the top 5 posts in the Top PWaC Posts of 2016:

#5 – This was a somewhat silly article but for whatever reason, people just REALLY want to know why it is that flight attendants hate when you order Diet Coke Read that as well as 10 other flight attendant secrets

#4 – Gift card reselling has been an interesting topic of late.  Earlier in the countdown we talked about my best day ever, where I earned $900 profit reselling gift cards (in a single day).  But even more popular was a post talking about my earlier efforts in reselling $18,030 in gift cards.  If you’re wondering how to get started, you might check out my Beginner’s Guide to gift card reselling.

#3 – Manufactured spending has changed quite a bit in 2016, with the removal of most of the Walmart moneycenter kiosks (aka “Kate”).  It was regarding one of the Kates at my local Walmart that got me a call from a Walmart store manager

#2 – There is always a fine line to walk between helping people find out about deals and restricting publication / knowledge in the hopes of the deal lasting a little longer.  Back in February, there was a prime example regarding Alaska Airlines credit cards- was this another deal we killed?

#1 – And the #1 most read post written in 2016 on Points With a Crew also talked about miles – The miles from my $39,000 purchase just posted!
