Starwood is back at it with their SPG More for You promotion. The first part is a hotel promotion that starts September 12th
You get double Starpoints on weekday stays of 2 or more nights and Triple Starpoints on weekends. Nothing super exciting, but the real news with SPG More for You is that they are once again running a daily contest where you can win Starpoints.
How to play the SPG More for You instant win game
Similar to some of the past SPG online games like Open the World, Tap into Luxury, SPG Design Hotels (I won 20,000 SPG points in that one), and SPG Get in the Game, you play a brief online game and can win a variety of instant prizes.
The link is the same as the SPG More for You hotel promotion but at the bottom you can enter in your SPG number and play once a day (per account) through September 12th. Once you enter in your SPG number, you’re given a variety of Starwood-themed hotel key cards
It doesn’t seem to matter which card you pick, but you’ll either win a prize or (more likely) not.
In addition to the Grand Prize of 50,000 Starpoints plus five (5) Free Night Awards, Category 1–6, there are also instant win prizes of
- 630 prizes of 1,000 Starpoints
- 420 prizes of 5,000 Starpoints
- 210 prizes of 10,000 Starpoints
- 210 Free Night Awards (Category 1–5)

Frustrating…I’ve used the link in several blog posts (yours being the latest) and the page where one enters their SPG number loads…but…when I enter my number, all I get is a horizontal progress bar that never loads the various key cards. I’ve tried 2 different computers. Is this browser-specific (can’t imagine that but I can’t think of anything else)?
Same problem. Works on my iPhone so I’ve been doing that.
Yesterday it worked for me on Chrome but not on Safari … hope that helps
Long progress bar for me on my first attempt on the 22nd (using Safari on iPhone). After waiting forever, I finally just refreshed the page and boom, I won 1000 points! It’s been fine for me on all other attempts
Despite being a global brand, it’s not available outside North America. Kudos, SPG!
