If you are traveling out of Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) with a Priority Pass membership (likely from a credit card), you’ll have complimentary access to the Prima Vista FCO lounge. If you don’t have Priority Pass, you can buy a day pass to the Prima Vista lounge for as low as 40€ per person, which I would not recommend.
Prima Vista FCO / Rome airport lounge location
The Prima Vista Lounge is located in Terminal 3 in the E gates, near Gates E51-E61.
The Prima Vista airport lounge is open from 5:45 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. local time. If you have a flight outside those hours, you unfortunately will not be able to use The Prima Vista Priority Pass lounge. Once you get to the E51-E61 area, you’ll turn left (rather than following the path right to the gates) to enter the Prima Vista Lounge in FCO airport.
Which FCO / Rome Priority Pass Lounge Is Best?
The best Rome Priority Pass lounge is going to depend largely on which terminal and area you have access to. There are actually 5 Priority Pass lounges in FCO – 3 in Terminal 1 and 2 in Terminal 3. Both the Prima Vista Lounge as well as the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 are accessible by all passengers, but they are on complete opposite sides of the terminal. We first tried to go to the Plaza Premium lounge, but they were not accepting Priority Pass passengers, so we walked down to the Prima Vista Lounge.
One important thing to note is that if you are departing from Gates E31-E44 (where I believe most all of the flights to the United States depart), there are no lounges in that area. It is possible to get from the E31-E44 areas back to the main part of Terminal E, but you have to ride the tram backwards, and get on the tram when everyone else is getting off and get off the tram when everyone else is getting on. It feels a bit “wrong” but I was told by one airport worker that it was fine to do this.

The Prima Vista Lounge is fairly large – it says that it is 550 square meters with a seating limit of 130 people. We didn’t have any trouble finding a place to sit.
Rome Terminal 3 airport lounge review: food
This Rome Leonardo da Vinci (FCO) Priority Pass lounge had basic availability for food. I was there in the morning, where they had a variety of American-style breakfast meats and eggs.
They also had European-style meats and cheeses
There was bottled water and pitchers of juice available.
There was also a small bar, and when I asked for Coke, I was directed to the bar, where the guy just poured me a cup of Coke Zero from a 1.5 liter bottle he had hanging around! 🙂
Prima Vista FCO airport lounge wifi
The Priority Pass FCO wifi in the Prima Vista Lounge was moderate. I didn’t have any trouble doing light browsing, but trying to do images and videos was a bit difficult.
Priority Pass FCO / Rome Airport lounge amenities
The Rome Airport Prima Vista Lounge FCO has a few basic amenities, but it’s pretty much just the complimentary wifi and seating.
They have a Quiet Zone and a Meeting Room
There are also men’s and women’s restrooms inside the lounge and a shower stall.
In any case, I rate the Prima Vista Rome Terminal 3 Airport Lounge decent and I would definitely recommend it if you are departing Rome Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO) with a Priority Pass card
