Recently I was in New Orleans for a conference and had a returning flight from Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport (MSY) and had the opportunity to visit The Club MSY, which is the Priority Pass MSY airport lounge. I have been to many “The Clubs” in different airports throughout the world, and they all share some similarities. You’ll have basic food, seating, wifi and not much else.

The Club MSY is a Priority Pass lounge, so if you have a Priority Pass membership (likely from a credit card), you’ll have complimentary access to The Club MSY.
Priority Pass MSY / New Orleans airport lounge location
The Club MSY is located nearest to Gate A1, but it’s very centrally located. It’s right where the A and B terminals split off, so very convenient if you are flying out of either of those terminals. And it’s not very far to Terminal C as well if you’re flying out of those gates.
You will go up the elevator one floor to the 3rd floor and “get ready for a new experience” as you ride up the elevator (but don’t get your hopes up 😀 )
The Club MSY airport lounge is open from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time. If you have a flight outside those hours, you unfortunately will not be able to use The Club MSY Priority Pass lounge.
The Club MSY Priority Pass New Orleans airport lounge seating
There aren’t a ton of seating options available at The Club MSY. Right after you get checked in, there is a large open area with a variety of tables and chairs.
There is a bit more seating in the back near the bar.
However, there is a “Quiet Zone” that is kind of out of the way and hard to spot. When I got to The Club MSY airport lounge (around 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning), the main seating area was quite full, but the Quiet Zone area was nearly empty.
The Quiet Zone had a few seats as pictured above as well as a few pod areas which were even quieter. I grabbed a seat in the Quiet Zone and it was much quieter than the main seating area at this Priority Pass New Orleans lounge.
Most if not all of the seats throughout The Club MSY had power outlets as well as USB chargers.
Louis Armstrong New Orleans airport lounge review: food
This New Orleans Airport (MSY) lounge had basic availability for food – there were canned Coke soft drinks available as well as coffee, tea and basic cold pastries. I was there during breakfast time (around 9 a.m.) so I am not sure what the food offerings would be later in the day.
There is also a bar available. There were signs indicating that you could scan a QR code to order food directly from your seat, though I did not try it out myself.
The Club MSY airport lounge wifi
The Priority Pass MSY wifi in The Club MSY Lounge was fairly standard, but when I first got into the Priority Pass MSY lounge, I was not able to connect to the Internet. I connected to the wifi okay but it said “No Internet”. Thankfully though, you could still connect to the main MSY airport wifi. I tried connecting to The Club MSY wifi a little bit later and was able to connect to it without any trouble. The Club MSY wifi was lightning fast
As you might imagine given the speed test above, I had no Internet problems at all. I’m not sure if it was only this fast because there was hardly anyone else in the lounge when I was there, or if The Club MSY wifi is always this good.
Priority Pass MSY / New Orleans airport lounge amenities
The New Orleans Airport The Club Lounge MSY does not have much in the way of amenities. In addition to the complimentary wifi and seating, the only other thing you can really count as an amenity are the in-club restrooms and a very small “business center”, which is just a computer and printer out in the main area.
In any case, I rate the The Club MSY lounge quite good and I would definitely recommend it if you are departing Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport (MSY) with a Priority Pass card.

Portions are pretty small, but I believe you can order two of an item at once.
Shh.. you just gave away the best-kept secret of that Club – the quiet work zone which has closed-door pods or workstations so that you could make a call and not be that &*#! person.
The QR code ordering works well. I was able to order a drink and snacks from the comfort of the desk. But yes I’ve noticed that at the Club MSY and SJC, the portions are tiny.
LOL – yes I actually have been here before but I think I missed that area the first time I was here. Someone came in and started listening to videos with no headphones and he was quickly admonished to put headphones on (which he did!)
Midway through my time here the big enclosed booth opened up and I sat there for the last hour or so I was in there – super nice!
I was there in early August 2023. It was a great space. We did order a couple of food items and enjoyed them. The service was friendly and helpful. My only criticism is because of the worn out nature of the carpet and furniture. For a fairly new room it will need a faster turnover of furnishings. Overall very nice space.
Flying through here on a Saturday afternoon in March of 2024. The airport was nearly empty, with nobody else in our security line, but was still told we’d have an hour wait due to British Air having priority.
