Those Citi points sitting in your account just got more valuable. I always love seeing new transfer partners for my credit card programs, even if they’re not useful for me. The real value in Ultimate Rewards, ThankYou Points, Membership Rewards, and Capital One Miles, is in their flexibility!
Citi just added another partner to their list: Aeromexico’s Club Premier program. The latest addition brings Citi’s team up to 15 airlines and a few other partners:
- Aeromexico Club Premier (1:1)
- Asia Miles (1:1)
- Avianca LifeMiles (1:1)
- Etihad Guest (1:1)
- Eva Air (1:1)
- Air France/KLM Flying Blue (1:1)
- JetBlue TrueBlue (1:1)
- JetPrivilege JPMiles (1:1)
- Malaysia Airlines Enrich (1:1)
- Qantas Frequent Flyer (1:1)
- Qatar Airways Privilege Club (1:1)
- Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer (1:1)
- Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus (1:1)
- Turkish Airlines Miles & Smiles (1:1)
- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club (1:1)
- Sears Shop Your Way Rewards (1:12)
Aeromexico Club Premier
Aeromexico is a member of Skyteam based out of Mexico City. You can also transfer Capital One Miles, American Express Membership Rewards, and Marriott Bonvoy points into the Aeromexico program. I don’t have much experience with the Club Premier system myself. Here’s what they charge when departing from Mexico (for what I hope would be a round trip price…)

I’ll have to poke around on the Club Premier site more and see what I can come up with. Any of our readers have experience booking with award tickets with Aeromexico?

I found MEX-JFK on Aeromexico Y for just 18k MR (with the transfer ratio). However, after 5 days I still have yet to see the miles in my account. Hopefully the availability doesn’t go away. Amex claims worst case can take up to 14 days which is insane.
