Ultimate Rewards can now be transferred to Emirates at a 1:1 rate (as of Sunday 8/25/2019). One Ultimate Reward = 1 Emirate Skyward. Keep in mind, you’ll need to have certain cards with Chase to unlock the capability to transfer your points. If you hold the Chase Sapphire Preferred or Reserve, the Chase Ink Preferred, or the Chase Ink Plus, you can transfer to all of the partners below.

Every bank seems to be growing their list of transfer partners. In my opinion, this is a direct result of the consumer demand for transferrable points currencies. Chase Ultimate Rewards have been king for a few years now, and Citi and American Express continue to provide great competition, while Capital One joined the battle, and Barclays was knocked out of the ring early.
(Personally, I’m an AmEx fanboy all the way, even though they’re nerfing some benefits…)
Emirates is a great addition to the Ultimate Rewards stable. The Middle Eastern carrier has a great hard product, and people love flying with them. In addition to their main routes through Dubai International (DXB), Emirates also operates a number of 5th freedom routes, meaning we have the chance to fly them even without stopping in Dubai.
