We’ve been eyeing deals lately on noise cancelling headphones that have been getting rave reviews especially with our travelers. These headphones are not exactly cheap. So when we see a deal, we share them with you. These were the past couple of deals we posted.
For today, here’s a pretty sound deal! This time, the deal is with Sony purchased via Amazon.

How you can get this for as low as $68 before taxes
There’s an American Express promo that could get you more discounts – see below:
Amazon $30 off $60 promotion (invite only offer)
- Go here to see details on the Amazon $30 off $60 promotion
- Or, Google “Amazon $30 off $60 Promotion American Express”, there are other postings that will take you to the direct link, or try this, click here.
- It will ask you to sign in to your Amazon account
- You will see a new window with an option to CLICK TO ACTIVATE
- Remember, this is an Invite Only Offer.
- If you haven’t taken advantage of this promo yet, you could get another $30 off (see below)
- If you have Prime, your shipping is free
- If you don’t have Prime, I did see another option for Free No Rush Shipping (see below)
Additional Amex Offer brings this down to $48 before taxes
You might want to check your Amex Offers to see if you have offers with Amazon. These were the other two that I found:
Spend $50, get 2,000 Membership Rewards Points
- If you have this offer, this could equate to another $20 in savings
- This means that with the Amex $30 off $60 and the additional 2,000 MRs ($20), this could be had for around $48 before taxes.
- Expires 12/31/2018
Get 3x Membership Rewards Points
- Check if you have this offer, mine is expiring soon
- At $68, you could get 204 MRs with this deal
If you could swing all these offers/discounts together, not bad for a $48 noise cancelling headphone from Sony. Let me know if you end up getting in on this deal. Good luck.

The link in the email brings me to used headphones. Can you send me the correct link?
Try this. All I did was to Google $30 off $60 Amazon American express https://www.amazon.com/b/ref=as_li_ss_tl?&ascsub&ie=UTF8&node=17020113011&linkCode=sl2&tag=d09c7-20&linkId=cd4194d79185d87edbc489e26a6e4991
If you’re not signed in to your Amazon account, it should give you an option to sign in. Remember, if you’ve already taken advantage of this $30 off offer, I don’t think it will again, unless you have another Amex MR earning card.
The link simply took me to my Amazon Prime account home page. No mention of a “$30 off $60 promotion” Even tried searching for same at Amazon website — nothing shown

Link didn’t go to a “$30 off $60 promotion”

Thanks. Haven’t taken advantage of offer. Used your link, indeed it took me to a sign-in page. Signed in, but no mention of offer. Not on the initial page, not in coupons, deals or anywhere else.
Chuck, is your Amex MR earning card linked to your Amazon account? If not, make sure that it is. And if it already is, and the offer still does not show, looking at the screenshot I shared, it’s an invite-only offer. If it doesn’t work this time around, don’t worry….something else will come up. I’ve been eyeing these noise-canceling headphone deals. Stay tuned.
OK, I think I misunderstood. I don’t have an Amex MR card. Only good if one has that card, correct? No worries.
Chuck, correct. The screenshot above shows using Amex Membership Rewards. You could use as little as 1 MR point to trigger the $30 off.
