Well it’s been a whirlwind 36 hours of Amazon Prime Day. If you’re mad that Prime “Day” lasts 36 hours but don’t blame me – blame Amazon! Prime Day is scheduled to end at 11:59 PT on Tuesday the 17th (3 AM Wednesday morning in Eastern Time), or in about 6 hours. We’ve covered Prime Day quite a bit here at Points With a Crew over the past few days
- Amazon Prime Day 2018 deals
- Save 20% on Amazon purchases (again!)
- Woah! 3x Membership Rewards at Amazon! Stack with 20% off and Prime Day
- Amazon Prime Day deals at Target
- The 1 thing you need for awesome hotel meals is 60% off today
Judging by blog views, you guys have been super interested in Prime Day but if you’re not, don’t worry – Wednesday we will hopefully return to “normal” miles and points commentary! 🙂 . With Prime Day winding down, I did want to give a quick rundown of some of the deals that are still live as Tuesday turns into Wednesday
(UPDATE: Amazon Prime Day is over – check back next year for more deals!)
And don’t forget your 20% off promo code
Remember that you can check to see if you’re targeted for 20% off on these purchases with promo code AMEXSWP20PD and that often it is taking that 20% discount off the ORIGINAL price, meaning that you can often stack and get 50 or even 60 percent or more off
Gift cards are always a good option – there are mixed reports of people being able to buy $400 in Amazon gift cards for $100 off as long as they included at least $100 in either 3rd party gift cards or other merchandise sold by Amazon.com and at least 1 Membership Reward point with promo code AMEXSWP20PD. If you’re looking for travel gift cards, Southwest Airlines, AirBnB and Hotels.com are options. Lowe’s and Safeway gift cards are also fairly popular
What was your best Prime Day score?
