Earlier this month, some of the arrivals lanes were being shut down at Reagan National Airport (DCA) as part of Project Journey. Now, it sounds like they are starting to move things around inside the airport as well.

  • First the airline kiosks and baggage drop locations for American Airlines and Delta have been moved. These specific kiosks were previously located in the Metro walkway. They are now located in the National Hall in terminal B/C. See the map above.

  • Second, the arrivals area is still an active work zone. Work takes place nightly between midnight and 9am. There are supposed to be minimal impacts to traffic in that area due to the nighttime noise rule at the airport.

If you are planning on flying into or out of DCA anytime soon, make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to navigate the changes or for your ride to pick you up before you get to where you need to go.
