I first read on MilesQuest that Barclay is offering a free $25 statement credit for US Airways card holders if you enroll in paperless statements.
If you already have paperless statements (as most people do, I’d imagine), you can just turn them off, log out, and then log back in.
I first misread this as for the Barclay Arrival card but when I tried to do this on my account (that doesn’t have the US Airways card), I did not get the message.
Where to turn off / on paperless statements
It took me awhile to figure out where to turn the paperless statements on and off, so in case others have the same problem, here’s what you do.
First go to Account Settings on the main page.
Then, on that page, you can choose to turn off paperless statements
After you log out and log back in (I had to login with a separate browser), you should get the following popup. NOTE AGAIN: This only works if you have the US Airways card. If you have a Barclay card but not a US Airways card, you won’t get the popup.
Last step is to choose “Go paperless now” :-D. You will have to make one purchase by 12/31/2014. I’m not clear if you need to make a separate purchase after enrolling for the promo, or if having a purchase already (in order to trigger a statement) will be enough. I’d make a small purchase just to be safe.

Very quick signup. The popup showed up within 5 seconds of slecting the US Airways card (I have multiple Barclay cards).

Worked for me on third browser tried (IE) – maybe didn’t give it enough time.
I did it, but I am still waiting for the statement credit to post. It doesn’t help that my month just ended. Maybe it will post after December 31st?
Yeah I am not sure about when it will post either – I have not seen it yet on my account either. If you keep checking back, I will post again when I see it post for me.
Tried with new browser on a different computer and the $25 offer did not pop up, this was after a purchase on a newly activated account.
Just received my Jan Statement…no credit. Called Barclay and was told credit will take4-6 weeks after promotion close date, i.e. 12/31/14 to post so look for by 2/13. If not then call for investigation

No – I believe this offer is unfortunately no longer valid. I actually think I missed out on it myself because I didn’t read the fine print that you had to ALSO make a transaction with it after you signed up 🙁
