There are several travel-related deals that are active for Cyber Monday. I already wrote about one – a Starwood sweepstakes with a grand prize of 225,000 Starwood points. I did do that one, though I was disappointed in only getting 3 “shakes” of the snow globe.
I was under the impression that you would be able to “shake the snowglobe” multiple times throughout the day, but it looks like you only get 3 spins per email address / SPG number. I did my 3 spins (and didn’t win, of course)
Best Western $25 travel card
Loyalty Traveler reported that there is also a promotion where you can get a $25 travel card at Best Western. Originally I thought that this was only for new signups, so I discounted it, but it is for existing users as well.
Enter at Best Western’s Cyber Monday site.
Offer Details: Register between 12:00 a.m. MST on Monday, December 1, 2014, and 12:00 a.m. MST on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, and get a $25 Best Western Travel Card® via email. Travel Card expires after January 5, 2015, and will not be extended, and may not be used in conjunction with any full prepaid rates (i.e. BEST VALUE).*
I don’t know why Best Western calls them “travel” cards, but it’s basically just a gift card. I’ve gotten a few of them for doing Best Western Best Rate Guarantees

There are some pretty severe restrictions to this card – mostly that it expires on January 5th. Limit one person per household. I signed up for both my and my wife’s account, so we’ll see if we get them both or not.
The other promotion that might be interesting was the $100 off an Orbitz booking of $100 or more. I personally passed on that as there were a few restrictions on the hotel and since I have no real plans to go anywhere, it wasn’t super appealing. I have enough hotel points that I can generally use them for the amount of stays that I need.
