Amazon has been in the news lately – first they shut down their person to person Amazon Payments service, denying us all of an easy 1000 miles a month. Then Miles to Memories reported that there were Amex Sync offers for $15 off of $15 at Amazon.com (though that appears to be targeted – I didn’t get any on any of my Amex card).

Considering you guys are a family of 8 I suggest the Space Coast in Florida. Or Tampa. South enough to be warm, family-friendly, and cheap enough to not break the bank. =)
