Hat tip to Giddy for Points:
Chase is bringing its United VIP lounge to 2 shopping malls in the United States:
San Francisco:
Westfield San Francisco Centre, Dome level near Bloomingdale’s from November 24 – December 24, 2014, 11:00 am until mall closing
Short Hills (New Jersey):
The Mall at Short Hills, located on the first floor next to Macy’s and adjacent to Guest Services from November 22 – December 24, 2014, 11:00 am until mall closing
Who’s eligible?
Anyone that has a Chase United credit card (it appears that either the United MileagePlus or the United Club card should work). You will need to show your Chase United card and photo ID, and you can bring 3 guests. I got the Chase United MileagePlus card a few months back as part of a recent credit card churn. If you don’t have a United card right now, there does appear to be a 50,000 mile offer out there, though it may be targeted. If you have recently applied for a Card you may bring your confirmation page to the lounge, and you will be granted access for the entire duration of the VIP Lounge.
What to expect
The VIP Lounge is open to all Chase United Credit Card members and features complimentary gift-wrapping, coat and bag check, and snacks and beverages, including fresh baked goods, packaged snacks, soda, bottle water, and coffee, plus café-style seating and flat screen TVs. Cardmembers will be asked to show a photo ID along with their Chase United Credit Card to enter.
They also have “Football Sundays” where they’ll show football games on the TVs in the lounge, and “Toys for Tots Tuesdays” where you can bring a new, unwrapped toy with a minimum retail value of $15 and receive a United Club day pass, maximum of 2 passes per United credit card holder per day (guests not eligible)
I was actually trying to figure out where to go with my United Club passes – see the comments in that post for some ideas about which lounge locations are the best to visit.
It’s too bad I don’t live in San Fran or New Jersey, or I would TOTALLY hit this up. Too bad I can only bring 3 guests though – with my family of 8, we’d have to take turns going 😀

If you and your wife each had the card then you could get your whole family in 😉 Thanks for the link!
I know – I thought about that too! If we lived anywhere close to one of these locations I would definitely do it – can you say dinner every night! I bet (assuming you weren’t totally abusing it) that you could bring your kids in even if there were more than 3 guests.
