My wife and I have have quite a few American Express cards. One of the things I look forward to is checking my Amex Offers. You can check these from your desktop computer (scroll down under Recent Transactions and you’ll see Amex offers and benefits), or using your smartphone, once you’re in the Amex app, you’ll see Offers in the bottom of the screen.

Key things to know about Amex Offers
- Amex offers are targeted offers, if someone has an offer you didn’t get, you can’t call Amex to request the offer be added to yours
- If interested in using an offer, you have to click Add to Card
- Follow the instructions, restrictions do apply (expiration date, what you can or cannot buy, places where you can or cannot use the offer)
- Offers come in a form of credit or in some cases, additional Amex Membership Rewards Bonus (could be found on cards that offer MRs)
- Credits or bonuses don’t always post immediately, some could take weeks. Read the details of the offer.

I’m new to Amex cards and Amex offers.
Currently have American Express Business Plus & MB Plat
Question: You get free Employee cards…once you get them (I signed my girlfriend up for one on my account) and they wanted her Social security number to activate.
Will her Employee “Business Card” show up on her personal credit report?? Will they do a credit check that will report on her report? (I dont think so, but dont want her credit report to take an inquiry)
AMEX offers are for each “card” not for each “account right? (meaning if I do one offer, it wont spoil it on another card if its target at the same time)
Hi Craig. From my understanding, biz cards with Amex don’t show up on your credit report, I have quite a few biz cards with them and none have shown up on my credit report. As far as Amex Offers, the best I can tell you, on one our personal Amex cards – we have an Amex Everyday Preferred with 2 other authorized users in the family. I created separate logins for all 3 cards and all 3 receive different offers and at times, similar offers.
Thank you so much for sharing a great information. I appreciate your time and effort in your work. Keep posting.
You’re welcome. There were dozens of other offers, but I picked out these offers since most of them seemed relevant.
