Overnight, there was a huge sale on fares from various North American cities to several cities in Europe.  We’re talking in the $400-500 range to Dublin, Ireland, and below $700 to many other European cities.

I don’t think these fares are not low enough to be true “mistake” fares, but they are good deals (if you’re into paying for airfare, which I’m not, particularly).  So in that case, the same caveat applies – don’t wait, don’t ask, just book now.

If you wait to figure out what your schedules are, or if grandma can watch the kids, you’re likely to miss the truly GREAT deals.  I would recommend figuring out beforehand what deals you CAN and SHOULD do.  That way, when you see a mistake fare, you can just book it right away.

Brief social network interruption!!! Have you thought about following Points With a Crew on Twitter? Or maybe Facebook?

Again, these are GREAT deals for flights to Europe, but more than I personally would want to pay.  Still, if you’re looking to go to Europe this winter / spring, here are a few of the deals that are still out there:

Cincinnati to Zurich for $688

Newark to Dublin for $405

Miami to Brussels for $685

San Francisco to Dublin for $465

I’m still seeing availability under $700 from Newark, Cincinnati, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and a few other places.  Here are a few of the posts out there that might have some additional information – Running With Miles, Traveling Well for Less, Forward Cabin, or Fly Miler.

Let me know what deals you’re seeing in the comments!
